Scratches

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4-year-old son picked
up stone and scratched lines on the side of the car.

In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times;
not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all of his fingers due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father... with painful eyes he asked,
"Dad when will my fingers grow back?"

The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and
kicked it a lot of times.

Devastated by his own actions sitting in front of that car he
looked at the scratches; the child had written

"LOVE YOU DAD"

Anger and Love have no limits; choose Love to have a beautiful,
lovely life

Things are to be used and people are to be loved,
But the problem in today's world is that,
People are often used and things are loved.

Let's be careful to keep this thought in mind:
Things are to be used, but People are to be loved ...

God Answers, we must have strong Faith

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky.

The worst had happened ~everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. God, how could you do this to me he cried. Early the next day, however, he was wakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island.

It had come to rescue him. How did you know I was here asked the weary man of his rescuers. We saw your smoke signal, they replied.

It's easy to get discouraged sometimes when things appear to be going badly. But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering. Remember, next time your little
hut is burning to the ground, it just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God.

For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves, God has a positive answer for it. We must feel the grace of God with strong faith.

Whisper or Brick?

A young and successful executive was traveling down a
neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar.

He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars
and slowed down when he thought he saw something.

As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick
smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and
spun the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.
He jumped out of the car, grabbed the kid who was standing there
and pushed him against a parked car shouting,

"What do you think you are doing, boy?"

Building up a head of steam he went on, "That's a new car and
that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money.

Why did you do it?"

"Please sir, please. I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do,"
pleaded the youngster.

"I threw the brick because no one else would stop..."

Tears were dripping down the boy's chin as he pointed around the
parked car.

"It's my brother, sir," he said. "He rolled off the curb and
fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."

Sobbing, the boy asked the executive, "Would you please help
me get him back into his wheelchair, sir? He's hurt and he's
too heavy for me."

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly
swelling lump in his throat. He lifted the young man back
into the wheelchair and took out his handkerchief and wiped
the scrapes and cuts, checking to see that everything was
going to be okay.

"Thank you and may God bless you, sir," the grateful child
said to him. The man then watched the little boy push his
brother toward their home.

It was a long walk back to his Jaguar...a long slow walk.

He never did repair the side door.

He kept the dent to remind him not to go through life so fast
that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention.

God whispers in your soul and speaks to your heart.

Sometimes when you don't have time to listen,
He has to throw a brick at you.

It's your choice:

Listen to the whisper...

or wait for the brick.

Love, Wealth or Success

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long
white beards sitting in her front yard.

She did not recognize them.

She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry.
Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?" they asked.

"No," she replied. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in," they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had
happened.

"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"

The woman went out and invited the men in.

"We do not go into a house together," they replied.

"Why is that?" she asked.

One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said
pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another
one, "He is Success, and I am Love."

Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which
one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said.
Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!" he said.
"Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and
fill our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"

Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the
house.

She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better
to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to
his wife.

"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the three old men,
"Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."

Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other two
also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth
and Success: "I only invited Love, why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or
Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you
invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him.

Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!

Positive Approach

Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice.
Son: I will choose my own bride
Father: But the girl is Bill Gates Daughter
Son: "Well in that case.. OK"

Father Approaches Bill Gates.
Father: "I have a husband for your daughter"
Bill Gates: But my daughter is too Young to Marry
Father: But this young man is a vise-president of the world bank
Bill Gates: "Well in that case.. OK"

Father Approaches the President of World Bank.
Father: I have a young man to be recomended as a Vise-President
President: But i already have more Vise-Presidents then I Need
Father: But this young man is Bill Gates Son-In-Law
President: "Ah.. in that case OK"

Moral: Even if you have nothing, you can get anything. But your attitude approach should be positive.
